Are you able to login and use SO1 now, or are you locked out as well?I never had a fender account either and the whole botched migration cost me over $800.

I am pretty sure that it is not allowed to silently transfer a user account from "Company A" to "Company B" without any preliminary information. At least not in Germany. You do now - trust me.

Yep ... I was able to log in, too. And I definitely never had any kind of Fender-related user account before! I am not amused![..]
Did you test your Presonus credentials at Fender.com?

I'm not sure what exactly happened but I attempted to log in from a computer that I had never installed S1 on and it worked. Told a friend to try it and he attempted from an organizational computer and it did not work. I wanted to see if it solved the issue before I came here and told everyone, but alas it did not. I appreciate you checking up on me. I know I seemed like I was on the ledge the other day on this forum. Are you able to login and use SO1 now, or are you locked out as well?

Yeah ... but this is not a required, preliminary information about an upcoming account migration.May I just quote a statement from Presonus Website: "If you have a Presonus account and not a Fender account with matching email a fender account will be created."
I know about that since Lukas posted the above URL at the very beginning of this thread. So I'm not surprised that people now suddenly have Fender accounts they aren't aware of.

Have to agree.
There is account "migration" (and/or "synchronization") and then there is account "creation" (without any specific consent presented to the user either). These are vastly different things.
Just because Fender thinks this is a good idea - they still need to ask me first if I even want an account.
That said - if I was just the slightest bit speculative about about some (yet to be announced) "future" for our little company (and beloved DAW) - if we are getting Fender accounts foisted upon us with no ask whatsoever - I believe I am now moving from slight speculation into full blown worry mode now as it appears there are bigger changes afoot than I realized.

"Fender Studio" and "Fender Studio Pro" ... sounds like a plan.I reckon this probably violates privacy legislation in several territories, not just the EU, and it pretty obviously hasn't been thought through - including running it past a functioning legal department!
As we were discussing the other day, it does feel like Fender are laying the ground for some major revisions to PreSonus and the joint software ecosystem. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that the PeSonus identity is to be subsumed into Fender; it's a well-trodden corporate path in many fields. Whether that means any significant changes beyond identity is a different matter, but I could see that the process of changing identity would mean that other development might have to take a back seat for a while.
I don't know if I want to log in there. Will I have the same problem logging into Studio One as you're having if I do? I'm in the middle of a project and I don't want it jeopardized. You do now - trust me.
Cruise over to Fender.com and click Login (under the "person" icon in the upper right - and you will get this very familar looking screen:
