Welcome to our new Studio One forum! 🎶

We're thrilled to create a space where Studio One users can connect, share, and dive deeper into everything related to music production with Studio One. Here, you’ll find like-minded creatives discussing tips, workflows, and new ideas to help us all make the most of our favorite DAW.

Please note, this is an independent, user-driven forum and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or maintained by PreSonus. It's all about users helping users, so feel free to jump in with questions, share your knowledge, and connect with others who share your passion for music.

In addition to Studio One, you’ll also find sections dedicated to other PreSonus products, like the hardware lineup and PreSonus Notion, along with a space for discussing Studio One scripts (Harmony Wizard, Scoring Tools etc.). We’re starting small to get to know each other and grow as a community, but more forum categories may be added over time.

Enjoy exploring the forum, and we look forward to all the incredible discussions and music-making ahead! Have fun! 🎹 🎧

First sitewide reply!

(Never had one of those before)

Thrilled to be here after being run off by the previous landlords.

Look forward to all the same souls coming together again under this banner;

Just so you guys know, in the crazy time scramble Lukas and I had to set the ship right (2 days before 'judgement day' on the old forum), I secured our very own subforum with the moderators of the VIC boards (inaugural post here)

In short, the left and right hands lost track of each other for a bit there, but all is well now.
Big thanks to Luke and the associated acts for making this happen.

Now we just need to get the word out.

I am going to edit and leave up the 'beacon' post on VIC for a bit, to help guide S1 users here like a lighthouse.

Let's make Community Support great again!

Damn but this newer tech is a lot smoother to edit and post with than the old board...yay

Lukas!

Shoulda known you would be there!

Thank you for the invite and I am very thrilled to be here! (even my signature looks cool!)

Thanks, Lukas!

I wrote an intro on the other pop-up forum, which I've pasted below:
Thanks for doing this! I was j0001s from the old board. By way of intro...

I've been involved with midi sequencers/DAW since the birth of MIDI, when I wrote one of the first commercial sequencers for the Apple II/MPU401 (!!??? - wasn't exactly successful, but I was young and stupid). Went through the PC days of Logic, moved to Cubase when Apple bought Logic, and on to Studio One after Cubase 8.5.

Musically, I gig on bass in "covers for drunks" bands. I use Studio One for songwriting/recording, editing gig video audio and business video voiceovers, and to help learn songs.
I'm someone who posts when I think I can help, otherwise I'll tend to lurk. However, in the spirit of getting this off the ground, I'll post more, at least in the short term.

Thanks for creating this new forum. I hope it grows a lot... it's very good to have a new space to talk about topics related to the StudioOne DAW.

Thanks so much for doing this!
I'm fairly new to S1, having used it only about one year. I was mostly a consistent lurker on the old forum, but learned a lot from it. I hope this new forum will continue the positive traditions of the old one!

Lukas, as far as I am concerned, everyone one of us from the previous Presonus Forum users owe you great deal of appreciation.
I was seriously starting to look at other options but, will likely ditch that now due to the hard work you and others have devoted.

I doubt there is much I could do to help but am willing if you think there is something an extra pair of hands could possibly do.

Thank you very much Lukas (and others) who created this new forum for Studio One.

Thank you so much for doing this. I got a lot of useful info on the previous forum, and I’m sure that in time things will be as good here!

This made my day! Thank you, Lukas!!

Now we just need to get the word out.

When the PreSonus blog gets fixed, I can point people to this forum in my Friday Tip of the Week blog posts. Also, I'll mention the forum in the next updates of my Studio One-related eBooks. Hopefully those will drive some additional participation.

Great idea Lukas! And hi everybody, good to see you all over here!

Present!

Excellent work! I was also looking at other options but this is a great move! So great to see this. Thank you so much, Lukas!

Now can someone please speak to the team and get this centred playhead option sorted out!
