woah really? Also should add - this "fix" was most appreciated - right up until Studio One once AGAIN - decided to create a new Customization.settings file and overwrote all my customizations.
Is this behavior ever going to stop?
Again - thank god for drive imaging. This annoying seemingly unsolvable issue is literally driving me nuts.

Can you share the actual location of this file?
and being a relatively noob: can I just overwrite the existing and suppose everything is back to where it was?
Also do you recommend backing up the prefs and settings in a specific way?
best true & tested practice you use for that daily backup?
@eonOK sent a email to support@presonus.com and explained the issue. And got this auto-reply:
Hello,
We apologize for the inconvenience; please log in to your account and create a support ticket via our support portal.
Where I can't log in...
What a f**king clown show.
How on earth do you contact this company?
I know that. But while reading this thread, I got the impression that problems arise mainly at the expiry date of the subscription. The expiry date of my subscription is 9.12.2025, and I pointed out that these 2 months should be enough time for Presonus to fix this. So hopefully I will not have to deal with it.I must of missed this one, but the ref: to expiry date is as @Vocalpoint has highlighted in the graphic above.
Sorry I didn't want to sound dismissive of the problem and I understand your concern. Quite a problem for some.I know that. I'm not sure if Studio One losing activation at the end of a subscription period is caused by the account migration Presonus -> Fender. Instead, I think the conversion of 12m Pro+ subscriptions into perpetual licenses doesn't work properly. I also think that this conversion is supposed happen at the end of the subscription, which would explain that during the subscription everything in my.presonus is labeled as Pro+ content, including content that is part of Studio One and is supposed to stay active even if you don't renew your subscription, such as Deep Flight One, Sub Zero Bass and Cinematic Lights.

Well, then maybe they should contact their customers and inform them that they’re working on it — especially now that many of us are locked out of Studio One.@eon
Hiya, I don't think you need to contact support, it would seem Presonus are aware of the problem and will be working at getting things up and running.
Probably, I'm not part of Presonus so I cannot't help further!Well, then maybe they should contact their customers and inform them that they’re working on it — especially now that many of us are locked out of Studio One.
Well I'm totally baffled by S1 options. I have S1 Pro version (I think). I got the activation request msg (on Oct 11) which I'd never seen before so I assumed they'd changed to some kind of subscription option. (I don't keep up with this stuff). So after several confusing logins I ended up paying $149 to activate and now I can use it. (But I don't see anything that costs $149 on their website.)If you're having trouble logging into Studio One, check out this Knowledge Base article for some tips:
IMHO...My subscription ends in January 2026, and I've had no problems logging in, so I think this is probably close to the truth:
I very much hope that PreSonus/Fender get this sorted out quickly, as reading around the Interwebs this is doing their reputation no good whatsoever.
What's confusing me is the fact that your copy says it's only valid until 9.10.2026.
