WHAT IS FENDER STUDIO PRO 8 ??????

I just installed the Fender Studio Pro 8 next to the PreSonus Studio One 7 Pro, I'm already scratching my head...

I can find no reference to this online.

Interesting! Based on the downloads and add-ons it is Studio One Pro V8 with a new name. Strange how they haven't announced it or put any videos up. I wonder if it has been added to our accounts earlier than intended. Anyway, goodbye Studio One Pro and hello Fender Studio Pro, I guess...

Do you think they will rebrand all of the Presonus hardware too?

Only reference i have seen thus far

Interesting. No mention of the Quantum ES interfaces. I hope they haven’t gone - they’re rather good. But I can still find nothing online.

Ok, I don’t have access to v8. But based on the screenshot above: this is more to my taste that the previous UI.

And I realized that the new annual upgrade is now $99. So they are going the Cubase path I guess.

Release notes attached (also accessible from your account page). This is what they've been doing while we've been wondering about the radio silence...
Thanks for sharing this. There is only one thing i really want from an update and that is better audio to midi for drum replacement because current functionality is unworkable. If they fix this, i have no need for another update ever again. I see in release notes:

"Extract Beats istrained specifically on acoustic drums, making it the perfect tool for drum replacement"

I hope this scratches that itch

Just tried to install it into a sandbox to have a play but it says it needs Windows 10 of 11 to run. The sandbox is the built-in Win 10 one, and reports as Win 10 so that's not a great start.

As with anything new I won't be rushing to install it onto my production machine, even though the release notes say it will install alongside S1 V7. I'll wait until the first or second bug fix release...

As for those of you who don't have it in the account yet, it's probably just a gradual roll-out thing like we saw with those UJAM freebies a while back. If you are within the maintenance period for S1 I'm sure it will arrive in your account soon.

Oh, I don't doubt it'll arrive in my account sometime today, but I'm very surprised there's no official announcement or intro video out when (some) customers already have the product.

It seems the batch converter is gone, it doesn't come with the "new" version. :(

That's still in my product list, along with everything I've bought since 2019.

Many of the stock Plug-Ins have undergone a UX/UI redesign/rebranding, and while I appreciate the update to Mojito's GUI, I don't like the others at first glance, as they don't fit and match the "old" (in my opinion excellent) design language.

It's still available as a separate download in my account.

Yeah, I get it. I was mainly referring to the new borders of the top and bottom bars and the more pronounced buttons (e.g., the waveform selectors of MaiTai in your screenshot). But the "brushed" design of the Studio Verb is a slight step backwards.
