Studio One 7.2 - Discussion Thread

Well, I just went back to 7.0 (7.1 is not available for some reason) and the Detect Tempo / Extract Tempo works great. It's SOMETHING with 7.2 and must be something also on my system since so far, everything is kosher with you all. I did send the problem report along with the DMP file to Presonus. Maybe I'll hear back from them in a bit.

I had the same 'problem'. But than I looked again. The pulldown menu only shows 7.0.0 - you have to move over the menu and than you will see the 'hidden' versions: 7.0.1 - 7.1.1

post roll not working only for me or for all ?

in gregor video it not working too his recording stops at loop range. ..or i missed something ???..
That's by design (Auto Punch "Postroll" Feature)...
Recording occurs during the defined loop range.
The "Pre-record audio input" option (when enabled) does capture audio prior to the start of the loop but not after.

Extend the loop range for the duration of time you want recording to occur.

This issue happens with the Dark Theme and has been reported to the PreSonus Web Team.
You can scroll down using the mouse wheel to show the choices is a workaround.
It works as expected with the Light Theme.

Anyone having issues with the Reverse Audio command on 7.2? After the upgrade, it is no longer working for me. When I select it, the audio region background becomes transparent and nothing else happens. I also can not delete the audio region afterwards, or remove the track that it is on.

Reverse Audio works for me with Studio One Pro 7.2 and Windows 11 (24H2)

Please provide the steps you're using for us to confirm the issue and also update your signature (see link and example in mine) with your system specs as this helps in troubleshooting issues.

Well, Presonus responded to my ticket about the Detect Tempo and the various DMP files I sent them. They said that they have reported the bug to the developers to address in the next update...so apparently, this must be an actual issue.

I have the same issue and reported also.
 
I'm really glad that there are at least 3 of us having the issue. At least it's not just me. I wonder if it's a Windows Update or Video Card driver thing. At least Presonus has their developers on it. Hope we can get this fixed soon. I use that feature a LOT.
 
Was going to update today, but keep getting an error from the "check update" section of the Home page: "an error occurred at the server ID:200"... Any one else getting this?

May have to refresh the page a few times if you get an error on the link, it appears their server is overloaded.

On my system, the automatic hiding of plugin duplicates does not work completely as it is advertised - or maybe I am doing something wrong. The order of plugin formats in the plugin manager is set to VST3, VST2, CLAP and Audio Unit on my MacBook. But after a restart of S1, the AU plugins are not hidden but still shown:

And on some plugins, the VST3 version is hidden but the AU version remains visible:

Has anybody else noticed this?
I'm having the same problem. Most of my doubled plugins are as AU so the duplicate system is pretty useless in this state.
 
i rolled back to 7.1.1
This is the most buggy update I've seen since I started using the S1 (from version 5 )

graphical glitches on playhead,, crash with detect tempo ,, suddenly hotkeys stops working ( can`t delete notes in drum editor mode )
invisible clips playing on empty space in project ,. cant duplicate clips ..(restarting project help ) ..
and couple of crashes when dragging audio from browser to audio track ...

I read various forums and reddit, people have a lot of different bugs, and almost all of them roll back to 7.1

Not seeing anybody do it here (yet) except yourself.

Could be buggy like you say but this sounds like I/O, perhaps antivirus is locking files.

Close all apps. Update audio interface and driver/firmware. Temporarily disable antivirus and start again. Make sure you only have studio one open.

Please update your signature with your hardware and software specs.

On 7.1.1 all working just fine )) and all the bugs disappeared) and tempo detect no longer causes crashes, it is logical to assume that the problem is not in the computer, antivirus or drivers, right)?)
