Great! Missed it either. Thanx for pointing it out!I didn't see this in the release notes (I might have missed it) but there has been a change to selecting notes by velocity, which I'm happy to see.

Also the selection of the velocity in the MIDI editor is fixed.
THANK YOU!
VCA- and BUS-Channels are no longer coloured in the mixer. Still coloured in the arrangement. Was this a feature-request or did it happen by accident?

Works fine for me.Duplicating a instrument track completely no longer works. Can someone test and confirm this?

not with Kontakt 8 and other multi out instruments.Works fine for me.
…and Reason StudiosI wish presonus would do an open beta program like Bitwig and Ableton.
Duplicating a instrument track works for me in SO Pro 7.0.1.Duplicating a instrument track completely no longer works. Can someone test and confirm this?
Do you know that this behavior is different from v6?So, I’ve figured out what’s happening here. When you fully duplicate an instrument that supports Multi-Out, such as Kontakt 8, Halion 7, Impact XT, etc., the channel is not updated. This means the duplicated track is still running on the previous channel. You need to manually re-route it.
This issue only occurs with Multi-Out instruments. With regular instruments that don’t support Multi-Out, there’s no problem. If someone has the time to test this further, I’d really appreciate it.
The easiest way to check this would be to duplicate an Impact XT track. Set the fully duplicated track to solo, and you’ll see that it’s muted in the inspector on the left.
Yes, because version 6 does not support instrument buses. This feature was introduced with version 7.Do you know that this behavior is different from v6?
Ahhh of course, sorry, caffeine is still kicking in, lol.Yes, because version 6 does not support instrument buses. This feature was introduced with version 7.
I was about to say that the visibility, if anything, was worse than before. But I had just moved to a new machine that I hadn't previously installed S1. In that situation, the default for the preference "Draw events translucent (grid shows through)" is off.
Flipped it on, played with the appearance prefs a bit, and I'm good.View attachment 77
