OK, I have it working - to a degree - in my studio set up. Why I got different results on this computer compared to the home one, I've no idea - the computers are close enough in spec, both from a hardware and software PoV. The transport is working as it should, and I've finally got all the channel strips to display. But there are still issues...
One thing I discovered is that you have to pin the Channel Strip plug in in the little display at the top of each SSL360 channel if you want the strips to be permanently displayed, otherwise it'll only show the active channel. However, I still have no connection between the SSL360 channel faders and pan and the S1 channel faders and pan. Also, the SSL window isn't scalable - you can change its size, but the resolution remains constant. On the very large 4k screen I have in the studio, that's a problem. I dare say it would be better on a subsidiary, smaller screen - and better still on a wide but low-profile touchscreen - which is where we came in!!
