Touchscreens

One little handy tip. You can control the send levels of up to 6 sends per channel from 360. You'll find 6 rotary controls just above the channel fader in 360.

I've got eight, in fact, but, yes, I had noticed them. I'll have a look at how I might use them. I'm still not convinced by the mapping of third-party plugins to the UC-1 layout, but for those plugins where that really doesn't work I can of course always use the original UI.

Dell Touchscreen monitor arrived today.

OMG - game changer!!! Way better than expected!
Everybody should own one.

Only issue I have is on Windows 11 if I run the touchscreen as a secondary monitor the touchscreen maps to the primary monitor, so I'm stuck using the touchscreen as primary monitor. I've played with the "Tablet PC Settings" in Control Panel and it makes no difference. Annoying but still workable.

Slightly disappointed that (with my fingers) I can't move notes around in Studio One the note editor, or draw/resize notes (I can double tap to create a note). I probably need to research further but if anybody has any ideas. Ironically Maschine software did this straight away.

Strange - normally you can tell Windows which monitor is to be the primary display.

Oh I can tell Windows what the primary display is, but the touchscreen always follows the primary display.

So if the touchscreen is set to a secondary monitor, if I move a finger around on that screen like a mouse, the "mouse" if you like, moves around on the primary monitor! (and not the secondary/touchscreen which is what I would expect).

What size monitor did you go for? I'm looking to find a touchscreen that's 32 inch but they don't seem to be manufactured.

You have to go into Control Panel and select the Tablet PC Settings (select 'Large Icons' in the View menu to see it). Click on the 'Setup' button to select your touchscreen and let Windows set it up for the correct behaviour.

Funnily enough, I've just tried this for mine and as the laptop and secondary screen are both touchscreens, Windows couldn't cope - so I get the same behaviour you do. However, I am getting the buttons on S1 to react to my touch, so I'm good with that.

Edit: ah, the problem was I had the USB C lead in the wrong input socket! Putting it in the right one restored the expected behaviour.

I believe you have to do this in Control Panel, under Tablet PC Settings. I have 3 monitors, only 1 is Touch, and it is my Tertiary display that is used only for the Console, and a few VST's and Macro buttons (EDIT - too slow)

As stated when you quoted me in your last reply, I've tried that I'm afraid.

You must have seen these...

After an hour of googling I found the solution.
Set touchscreen as secondary monitor.
Yup goto Control Panel -> Tablet PC Settings
Press Enter (it isn't a touchscreen, I missed this bit)
Now press the touchscreen.

If I had read the text properly on the screen rather than make assumptions I would have been good to go! I just assumed it would figure it out just by one press (doh!)

If anybody has got any ideas please let me know...

I see you've upgraded to Fender Studio Pro, does SSL 360 work with it or does it need reconfiguring because of the name change?
