Touchscreen monitor feedback with Studio One

........plugs open on a Single touch or touch/slight hold.
Hi AAV,
Given the holiday season getting a little in the way (not a bad thing). I got a chance to test your hold first point, today. You were absolutely correct. That proved to be the answer. I previously was simply trying quick double taps which never amounted to success. No matter how fast.
I'd try a single touch instead. I'll try to pay more attention to which ones, etc. might be related to 3rd party versus Presonus, etc
Success! Yes, there was a bit of a learning curve between first tap, 2nd hold, or a 2nd tap. In the end they work, once the timing is known. I noticed no difference between Presonus on-board plugs, or 3rd party. They resulted in the very same convention.
Thanks so much, pointing this out.

I'm now enjoying a happy medium between working mobile with the laptop, and having a viable and fun touch surface when writing/tracking in the studio.

Thanks for this Lokeyfly.
It does make more sense that it is a single touch for everything. That will greatly simplify things. Many thanks for the follow up. Excellent!

Just a short note.

If you come across a cheap second hand Elgato Stream deck, even the 6 button mini unit it gets you access to an on screen macro bar
you can configure to suit you work flow. (currently in Beta test).

There's some info in "Tips and Tricks" if you want more.

Best regards to all

Thanks for that, Sintil8. I think some may find Stream Deck useful for Studio One. For me, having it on the screen, or off would simply be in the way. My keyboard is always next to me with every key command, macros, etc in place (among other controls). The Stream Deck simply puts an added layer of something I already have covered. I did have a look at the tips and tricks applied to it. Still, thanks for noting.

@Lokey, glad you are settled and sorted. I am in a state of flux having jumped from ver 5 to 7 is a big leap for me.
Things are evolving and I like where I'm going. It's a process of renewal for me.

Anyway others may see the opportunity and follow it up, just something that extends the Touch Screen integration for people.
Hope you don't mind me posting this into your thread, it just keeps this information somewhere logical.

Anyways up! kindest regards.

Youre always helpful my friend. Im hoping to respond today to your very nice comments from my song "Reach Far". It appears I'm currently too busy for my own good. Running a null test, and enjoying a cup of coffee. All the best!
