Android here. I have a serious iStuff allergy ;)

Android for flexibility & options.
Also; I spent 21 years as an IT wrangler for Mac networks and because of that horror, I'll never touch an Apple product again.🤪

I refuse to pay more than €300,- for a phone. That locks out any Apple...

We are in an "Apple household" for 20 years now. And of course everyone in the family has an iPhone. I like the integration of everything, e.g., I can answer a phone call while sitting on my Mac or using my iPad, without grabbing my iPhone (which might be in my jacket in the entryway). And I don't care about the price tags.

Samsung A56 5G 256Gb. Never had something from Apple and never will but my little Brother loves his iPhone and his Macbook.

Apple for sure. I totally agree. I think the whole ecosystem across all the devices is just incredible. My son recently gave me an Apple Watch and I can’t believe how amazing that is and how will it integrates into everything? Nothing compares to it.

Flip phone. My first "smart" phone was an iPhone. Had many Android phones since. I now avoid everything Apple. I resist interconnectedness.

For me iPhone - I love my iPhone multiple iPad ecosystem.

Been on iPhone since the original (which I still have), but I also use Android tablets (Samsung) which I like quite a lot. I also have both PCs (Windows 11 and Linux) and a MacBook Pro. I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

Had both. iPhones are just easier to set up and find stuff. To me there is no difference in how invasive any device can be. Samsung is terrible.

There’s a bit of static happening because of recent changes to Windows and the midi system. It’s broken a lot of long standing complex midi set ups.
I’ve watched a few recent videos by Reaper users who are switching to Macs.
All the good Daw’s are cross platform so no real learning curve involved in changing to a Mac for most.
W11 just broke my Motu interface so I’ve shelved it for now. It probably works better with a Mac
