"Night Train Home"

After watching a modern jazz quintet on youtube I wanted to write my own jazz quintet. So two weeks ago I dug into jazz theory for the first time and started writing my first modern jazz quintet composition! I wrote all the chords and notes and performed the virtual instruments on keyboard, except drums. No AI.

Features UVI piano and the Studio One Presence trumpet. Also has sax, upright bass and drums to complete the virtual jazz band.

I tried using a jazz trumpet vst, which was very good, but I liked the Presence trumpet instrument more!

Made in Studio One 6 Artist

Piano sounds nice. I know it's hard as hell to get those virtual horns to sound authentic but you did a fine job with it. Nice arrangement.

:)

Nice performance! Wonderful sound on the whole arrangement, feels like a great performance. I don't know if it's my connection or SoundCloud. But I hear quite a few pops and clicks.

Thanks. I thought I heard a pop too a few days ago but not today. If it repeats at same mm:ss time in the song let me know the time position.
