Native Instruments sold.....

Here is a link to the full information. Short version: inMusic Brands, the US-based owner of Akai, Moog, Denon, Numark, Rane, and M-Audio, announced today that it will acquire Native Instruments. That puts NI tools like Traktor and Kontakt under the inMusic umbrella along with Plugin Alliance, iZotope, and Brainworx.

Yep - back to work....now - where's v8.1?

I just hope nothing bad is going to happen to our perpetual licenses. Wavs almost did it a few years back.

Once the dust has settled in terms of the transition I wonder if Native Access will still work the same way.

Yeah, I hope so. I just updated my Native Access the other day from my having Komplete Ultimate. It all went smoothly. Hope that continues. The legacy issues could be huge.

I also hope those who have vested interest in the latest NKS controller integration for the NI, S Series MkIII's to get the goods they've been waiting on (all too long now). Although, that seems to be more of a Fender bender, than Native Inst issue.
Maybe on Fender's behalf, a little less guitar fluff, and more DAW to current instrument and protocol catch up is in order.
Just shaking the cookies out of the bed. 😉
