Solved Yellow diamond on the bottom of track...

Newb question about the Yellow diamond on the bottom of track that shows up after tempo detection

What is it's function? Can I delete it or move it?

:unsure::unsure:

Thx!

It's the sync point. That is where the first downbeat is detected as I understood it. You can move it, but it will change the tempo detection. Not that proficient in this either, I follow the steps in various videos and am happy with the results to not mess with the diamond.

Here's the details regarding the "Sync Point"...

Thanks Trucky, I've been searching the manual several times to confirm my mental concept of the sync point. Must have skipped over this... 🤓

Lukas has a good Video that gives a couple of real world uses for the Sync Points, which helped me get my head around them...
It's a nice feature and Lukas's outline is an excellent example. :cool:

Yes, "Scoring Tools" is another great Studio One add-on script from Lukas that I highly recommend!
