Hey everyone,
I'm currently working on my next Studio One/Studio Pro add-on and I'm at a point where I'd like to involve you directly in the process.
Some features are already implemented, others are still in the concept phase - and instead of deciding everything on my own, I'd love to hear what would actually be most useful in your daily workflow.
The add-on focuses on editing, navigation, and cleanup tasks - essentially a collection of workflow tools and commands designed to speed up everyday actions, especially when using keyboard shortcuts or macros.
Here's an early draft of the toolbar for the add-on:
The add-on will be compatible with Fender Studio Pro 8, as well as Studio One 6 and 7. (Some functionality may only be available in FSP 8.)
Like my other Studio One/Pro add-ons, it will be available at: https://s1toolbox.com/studioonescripts
s1toolbox.com
The poll is at the top of this thread. See the descriptions below for details!
Pick up to 4 features that would be most useful to you.
Note: This doesn't mean the top X will 100% make it in - but your feedback will heavily influence what goes into the 1.0 version.[/B]
These are features that are already implemented and very likely to be part of the 1.0 version:

I'll keep you updated here as development progresses - really curious to see what you all pick.
Thanks a lot!

Feature Ideas
- Track Markers / Time-based Track Notes
Create markers directly on individual tracks (instead of only using the global marker track), for example to add notes directly on a guitar or vocal track.
Includes a dedicated list view to quickly navigate between all Track Markers.
- Save & Recall Track Selection
Quickly save a track selection and recall it at any time - useful for jumping between different working setups in larger projects.
- Instrument Favorites (Quick Insert)
Create a list of your favorite instrument plug-ins and access them via a fast selection dialog.
Insert instruments in seconds - either with just a few clicks or entirely via keyboard.
- Reverse & Shuffle Events
Quickly reverse or reorder selected events to experiment with variations, sound design, or creative rearrangements.
- A/B Track Group Testing
Create and recall groups of tracks for quick A/B comparisons.
Easily solo, mute, or switch between different track groups to compare arrangements or mixes. (Concept still evolving)
- Cursor-Based Event Selection
A fast way to make precise edits without manual selection. Select events relative to the cursor position:
- Select Events before Cursor
- Select Events under/at Cursor
- Select Events after Cursor
- Auto-Colorize Tracks
Automatically assign colors to tracks based on their names - for example, all drums, bass, or vocals instantly grouped visually.
- Sort Tracks by Name / Color / etc
Quickly organize your session by sorting tracks alphabetically or by color for better overview and structure.
- Split Events at Markers / Arranger Sections
Automatically split events at marker positions or arranger sections - for restructuring or preparing arrangements.
- Select Events by Color (for color-coded events)
Quickly select all events with the same color - either globally or limited to specific tracks. Useful for audio editing if you use colors to group or organize different types of events in your session.
Already Implemented / Planned
These are features that are already implemented and very likely to be part of the 1.0 version:
- Batch Track Renaming
Rename multiple tracks at once (set names, add prefixes/suffixes, search & replace).
- Create Markers & Sections from Selected Events
Instantly generate markers or arranger sections based on selected events.
- Advanced Event Movement (Move all selected events to cursor)
Move selected events directly to the cursor position with a single shortcut.
- Advanced Event Trimming via Shortcuts
Fast trimming workflows using keyboard shortcuts for precise editing.
- Arranger Section Features
Add arranger sections at the cursor, create section presets, and automatically generate arranger sections and markers from selected events.
- Goto commands for Bars, Events and Markers
Jump to specific bars, events and markers. This can be used via keyboard shortcuts or in macros ("Goto Bar 5 and add Arranger Section with name [X]" etc).
- Fade in / out Events
Add fades to events with predefined length/type/bend (for usage in macros). This way you can create "fade presets".
- Track Color Tools
Quickly assign colors, create gradients, or generate unique color variations across tracks.
- Bypass / Activate Channels via Shortcuts or Macros
Quickly toggle channel states without using the mouse or even without opening the console at all - can be used for fast A/B checks, workflow shortcuts or live performance.
