Welcome to the Studio One User Forum!

Welcome to our new Studio One forum! šŸŽ¶

We're thrilled to create a space where Studio One users can connect, share, and dive deeper into everything related to music production with Studio One. Here, you’ll find like-minded creatives discussing tips, workflows, and new ideas to help us all make the most of our favorite DAW.

Please note, this is an independent, user-driven forum and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or maintained by PreSonus. It's all about users helping users, so feel free to jump in with questions, share your knowledge, and connect with others who share your passion for music.

In addition to Studio One, you’ll also find sections dedicated to other PreSonus products, like the hardware lineup and PreSonus Notion, along with a space for discussing Studio One scripts (Harmony Wizard, Scoring Tools etc.). We’re starting small to get to know each other and grow as a community, but more forum categories may be added over time.

Enjoy exploring the forum, and we look forward to all the incredible discussions and music-making ahead! Have fun! šŸŽ¹ šŸŽ§
Thank you Lukas for the initiative to built this forum!

Very Kewl!! Thanks for making this happen Lukas!! Nice to see some old familiar faces.
You know what they say......if you want something done right.......

Cheers........Cristofe

I was a member of the ā€œoldā€ forum ever since Cakewalk Sonar collapsed in 2017 and I switched to Studio One - never looked back, and wished I’d done it years before then. Wasn’t a frequent user of the old forum, but many of you guys helped me on a few occasions…it was a shock to find it gone, but I’m delighted to be here now. More time on my hands now I’m retired and hoping to get involved much more - writing more music and using Studio One and my FP16 more than ever šŸ˜€

I was a former 'S' user ... :)
Just trying to hint to BillS that some people on this forum don't like it when you mention C******K.

You're always welcome to ask away here BillS. This is a good community, willing to lend a hand when we can.

Thanks all, had a look around last night and I'm so glad I've belatedly found the forum. Hope to be able to contribute positively!

That's true. Most are very helpful. There are a few exceptions. I hope your early experiences are better than mine were. But that was on the old forum. There seems to be better control over abuse here.

There is. Of course there's always a few bad apples in every crowd (I probably mean bushel). However the group here is largely awesome. Everyone seems to cover different fields, from writing e-books, to computer savvy, script developers, building systems, song writers, producers, dabblers, geeks, & you know the whole wazoo. Best to you on your journey.

For my part, I’m primarily a songwriter. I’ve played guitar and sung for a long time, and in the past 18 months have been learning piano. Been using DAWs for 25 years and although I enjoy music technology I’ve never regarded myself as technical in that sense. Over the last five years I’ve integrated iOS music production on the iPad with my Studio One windows set up which has been rewarding at times. The touchscreen interface of the iPad brings with it some amazing possibilities, one example being the GeoShred app.
