Thanks for hosting this forum, it's nice to have a more or less official contact point again. The forum software is nice as well, I know it from other forums I frequent.

Yep - just checked it one last time. It's a redirect to the Presonus Knowledge base now.

And yes - no promo for the new home. Will need to look into this.

I have asked one of the mods of the old forum if it is possible to get a link to here put on that Presonus Knowledge Base page.

He said they would give it some thought. That's really all we can do.

The reason for this is that the decision to nuke our old forum was likely made by some corporate suit at Fender and/or new Presonus rep. they appointed after the merger because of 'metrics' that user-feedback can occasionally be negative, without considering what an incredible resource it is for customers. In all probability whoever it was did not want to preserve the old board, because they did not want it to come back after a backlash.

The weak attempt to paywall free and open conversations behind a subscription was thoroughly distasteful and reeks of corporate disconnect.

Anyways, all speculation aside, it's over and done with.

Stoked to make this board blow up!

I think once people get turned on to how much easier/more fun it is to use than the old one, our community has a chance at real growth beyond what the dated/defunct board used to be.

Presonus may not want to link to this forum. They might say its not a recognised. They should though I agree.

Whatever the politics or reason it is as said, somewhat reduntant and "done with".
As far as criticism goes, in my mind... As long as it's positive it's healthy.
About the board this darker look is far easier on my old eyes

I like the design, the company forum was annoying, at best, which is why I seldom contributed. This is far better, I'm looking forward to jumping back in.
