Use 2 instances of Studio one live at the same time? Or Studio One and Capture?

Hello,
I use Live Studio One 6 with the Showpage in combination with a StudioLive III 24R rackmixer.
Part of the channels come from Studio One via USB and the other part analog via the preamps.

I would like to make a multitrack recording of my shows.
However, the internal capture via SD card only offers a stereo recording.
Is there a workaround how I can play back my shows via Performance (Show) page and make a multitrack recording at the same time?

Can I run Studio one 5 in parallel to Studio one 6?
Studio One 6 as a player for the show and Studio One 5 records the analog inputs?
Or can I use Studio One and Capture in parallel?

Who has a tip, a workaround or another idea?

Thanks for your ideas and input...

Can I run Studio one 5 in parallel to Studio one 6?

At least with Windows, I don't think so. I've tried to run parallel Studio One versions without success. I thought maybe ASIO had something to do with it, but vanilla Windows audio didn't work. Nor did running in Administrator mode.

Running a different, simple DAW and connecting them with virtual cables (like the cross-platform option VB-Audio offers) might work.

Is the goal to record each of the tracks during a "live" performance?
What tracks are prerecorded in the Studio One 6 Show Page vs. live performance audio (via Studio One) to the SIII 24R?

Posting screenshots and more specific details would help.

The first pic shows the show setting.
1 have 7 players with WAV tracks in the show page.

The second screenshot shows the Studio One output routing to the mixer
Channels 1-5, 7 and 19 get signals via usb from Studio One.

The third one shows the routing in the SLIII24R.
All aother channels 6 and 8-17 use analog inputs for the live instruments,
So it is a mix between USB sources from Studio one and analog "instrument" channels.

As you know, the SLIII24R ony offers a 2 channel interated capture recording.

Thinking aloud here I don't believe this will be possible with usb interfacing alone. To have the multi-track recording make sense you want to record the usb tracks sent by Studio One's Show page together with the 24R's live inputs. Unfortunately the mixer can't send usb input channels back to the computer for recording, not in any app.

The only way I can see to maybe do this is by using the mixer's AVB port too. Apple computers with Ethernet port (critical to use the exact right type of adapter and/or port) can be an AVB endpoint with (recording) access to all AVB streams sent by the mixer. And those streams can be made to include the mixer's usb input channels. Not sure though if a windows computer can be an AVB endpoint too. Either way it's a tricky path, yet it may be the only way to do a multi-track recording of a Show page show.

It works!
I tried a little and was able to find a solution!

Here is the solution:
I use Studio One to play back the show.
At the same time I start Catpure for recording.

In Universal Control, I route the USB signal from Studio One to 2 channels in parallel. One is used FOH, the other channel is muted on the FOH mix but recorded in Catpure.

Example:
The bass comes in from Studio One on channel 5 via USB.
However, if I want to record channel 5 in Catpure, there is a hum loop.
I therefore do not switch channel 5 to Recording in Capture.
Instead, I also route the input from channel 5 (USB) to channel 26 via the matrix. I mute this channel in the mix (FOH), otherwise the bass would be heard twice.
In Catpure, on the other hand, I can set channel 26 to Record.
This allows me to record all USB channels from Studio One as individual tracks.
Mega!
I didn't expect Catpure to be running in the background.
I am very enthusiastic.

Interesting solution. It does eat up a few channels but if you don't need many then cool :)

PS. Be careful not to clip your inputs. Better keep some buffer headroom.
