"The Huge Book of Fender Studio Pro Tips & Tricks" Is Out! Reduced Price for 30 Days

I'll be in ASAP! Thank you for all your work Craig. (y)🫡

Thanks everybody! I hope y'all find it helpful. It was an interesting experience to basically tear the book apart and then put it back together again.

I'm already planning what should go into v1.1. At the top of the list is descriptions and specs of the "pedal" effects. They're not well documented, but they're far more versatile than being just guitar effects.

I've written to Sweetwater to find out what's happening. I know they wanted to get it online ASAP (even I didn't know it was online!), so that might have slipped through the cracks, or maybe the introductory discount is mentioned elsewhere. I'll report back when I get an answer.

Ok, now they have changed it. I probably caught them while setting everything up. The page now has the introductory price and contains a detailed listing of the chapter contents.

Before I forget: Congrats Craig to your new book release! 🍾
I’ll most probably buy it even though I don’t have v8, yet.

Thank you for your support! As always, ANY comments re additions, critiques, typos, etc. are welcome and appreciated.

That's what's cool about the free updates. If a new version comes out before you have v8, just download it again. I'm already planning what's going to be in 1.1.

I should add the FSP book cleans up some loose ends in v2.2 of the Studio One book, so you'll likely still benefit from it.

Insta buy!

Great work Craig.

Cheers

Thanks for posting that it's up, Guys! Also ordered. Many thanks to Craig for all the work to get this put together so quickly. What a great resource these books are! 👍

That cover makes eyes hurt ; )

If any of you feel like leaving reviews on the Sweetwater site, that would be helpful in raising awareness.

FYI: Sweetwater is impossible to deal with from France, so probably all of the EU. I still have my old account there from when I lived in the U.S., but I can't log in now, even when I switch my VPN to a U.S. server. Do you have another sales channel for the new e-book release? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Never mind. I was able to check out (with discount!) without logging in to my account. No problems downloading, either. (y)

Ordered the new book an hour ago, but I can't find a way to download it. The activation email says: "This e-mail contains your software activation/license codes and instructions for downloading and installing your new software." The link to "activation code" goes to a 403 Forbidden page. Also, the link to SweetCare Online results in a 400 Bad Request.

I had similar download problems with the last book. I don't believe I actually got it until the next day.

How did you buy it? I did it the “full” way with customer login. The link in my email did work. You could check your invoice in your account and try it again with the link included there. But besides this, it sounds like an issue for the Sweetwater support. :( Sorry.

I have it now. Using Outlook on my office machine, it was an immediate download. I suspect it had something to do with the xfinity web mail client.

And it is HUGE! If you use FSP8 regularly, buying this enormous and well organized book should be a no brainer.

From Sweetwater: Hmm, could be the browser or adblock? I just tried the link we sent and it works for me on mobile and desktop.

I tested it here, and it worked as well. Sweetwater sent an alternate link in case the link you have is messed up in a way they can't see. I've sent it to you via direct message. If you’re still having issues, please contact their support team at 800-222-4700 x 6400.

Good! I see you have it squared away. I sent Sweetwater your post so they could add it to their support team's troubleshooting database. I must say I was quite impressed by how quickly they replied to my concerns.
