Suddenly locked out of Studio One v7.x

Ok, I did read the long thread "If you are having a problem logging into Studio One, please take a look at this article" and have created a ticket with Fender, but I really don't want to wait days to be able to get back to work.

I’ve been happily running Studio One v7x. I have not yet upgraded to V8 as things are working so well right now and I don’t want to mess it up. Anyway, just tried to launch it and I got this:

I also tried validating manually and got this:

I don’t know where I would find my license file. I don’t see anything in my account on the Fender page. I’m paid through January 2027

I would really like to keep working on my music. Ideas?

Did you try your account in the Fender account (my.fender.com). I had the same problem until I changed my password. Anyway, you should find your license key there. If you don't already, you may have to start an account there. Good luck.

One thing you may not thinking of, is updated terms of use that you didn't accept yet. Another one might be a hacker's attempt of highjacking your account. In all cases above and the ones I mentioned, you need to log into your myfinder on the web. Go there first.

Fender (Jonny) responded to my ticket. It didn't direct me exactly in the right direction, but it got me looking for a hidden authorization file in my MacOS library that I had to delete. Validated fine after that.
