Studio One pricing -- indicating what?

Yeah. Same here. I was really hoping for even Ableton Lite with the Show Page, but nope. It just never went anywhere. And then with the Atom, I had high hopes that it could integrate with the Show Page to trigger things...but again. Nope. Even Cakewalk started experimenting with a "LIVE" type setup, but I abandoned Cakewalk when Gibson abandoned them. I didn't stick around for the Bandlab thing...once I discovered Studio One's workflow for DAW recording, I didn't turn back.

Even a more like "Mainstage" page would be nice. Or if you are familiar with "Sunday Sounds" which kind of works with Mainstage...it's really good.
Right, it seems that Presonus had a very narrow view of what to do during the Pandemic for a ShowPage for bedroom musicians performing "live" to youtube. All the in-house videos focused on simply adding effects to your guitar sound, and varying them easily by song.

What they missed was the enormous church market running tracks every Sunday! We made it work. But it had to be Sunday Sounds via Mainstage for keyboard sounds PLUS Show Page (Studio One) for tracks. So, we fumbled with the limitations for 2 years, ever expecting improvements to come -- and Studio One had a window of time to win over thousands of church musicians using Ableton, in a simpler package. But there are thresholds of usability. For example, the early edit that took away the ability to simply see your songlist in the performance views was a deal killer. It made the performance views unusable. It's as if the designers never really used in the real world what they had designed. Many of us used the available feature request page to alert the designers to needed development on the Show Page to take it from a promising draft to something amazing and usable! But, they have simply let 4+ years go by. We've had to move on.

Same thing with the Mastering Page. It's a great concept; yet underdeveloped. They keep advertizing it. But to be honest, Samplitude's standard window is so much more versatile. I will continue to master in Samplitude. I could add regarding the monitoring channel. It's nice. It's basic, functional. But it's threadbare compared to the monitoring sections in Cubase and Samplitude. They are miles ahead. So, to Craig Anderton's larger point: Presonus needs to further develop their existing good features. Make them great!
