Since there were inquiries about gain/fade handles on events: In previous versions, it was possible to drag an event fade handle so far to the opposite edge that the gain handle was painted over. Now, each of the three upper handles has its own place and can be accessed and edited at any time—even with extreme settings.

There will always be someone complaining, but (in my opinion) Studio One has never looked this good in my decade of using it. The last couple of versions really made a difference. It has the most visually appealing and well designed DAW UX out there, straight out of the box. It's also the only one that is not plagued by copius amounts of legacy, disconnected interface options - every corner of Studio One is still consistent and streamlined, without creeping feature duplication. I hope it stays that way for many more years, because it is a pleasure to use.
If Notion would get a big update I would buy it, and skip one issue of SO. But unless that happens I'll probably just update even though SO has everything I need. I took a long time when I decided to change from Samplitude to SO5, nothing comes close to SO for my needs, and yes SO7 was good at release but it is now excellent. Thanks to all who works on it.
"Incorrect Metronome tempo on playback start with Ableton Link enabled"
It's better but I still get issues here:
Synchronization -> Sync to external devices, activate ableton link, synchronize start/stop = all ticked.
Change the BPM / save / close studio one.
When starting up Studio One and this project again, it always defaults to 120bpm or the original project tempo before it was turned on.
There appears to be no persistent settings for project tempo with Ableton Link.
I deleted all preference files and wrote the Presonus support. This support moron replied "You don't need the vst 2 version anymore, the vst 3 version is better" So I can't edit the drums on 2 records I did anymore. Thank you Presonus. In my experience Presonus support have done a great job...
