Series III vs Series III SE mixers

As I'm orientating for replacing my FireWire IO (it will loose connectivity some day...) I'm considering a Studio Live mixer for it's tight integration with Studio One. I understand the preamp count differences between the different models and the channel count differences between the Series III models, but I can't figure out what the SE's have to offer other than a black finish and new fader and rotary caps... With the firmware update, the original Series III have Milan compatibility, extra compressor and EQ models as well... Am I overlooking something?

Thanks Tricky.
I've seen those and that was what was triggering my questions in the first place. Apart from the visual update, it looks to me as though the internal hardware is the same, except for the screen. I was just wondering if anybody had found out differently.

From the outside that's what it looks so they must be happy with what the pre-SE series III mixers packed. In that case the main difference will be a key components update (processor (board), display, converters) to extend the production life span of the series. Good news for pre-SE owners :)
