Did you mostly prep y'erself up by deep diving into the manual page by page to be able to make a book like the one you did?
TBH, I "harvested" the book. I've been writing weekly blog post tips for the PreSonus website since 2017. At one point I collected what I'd written in a book, which allowed search, table of contents, internal links, a consolidated source for audio examples and presets, and so on. Then Sweetwater liked my model of free book updates, and started selling the book. So, it just keeps growing in size. As I do more tips, I add them to new versions. Concurrently, I update older tips and delete older ones, like workarounds for something that Studio One started to do natively.
The tips simply come from my working with Studio One on a near-daily basis. Almost every time I record a new song, have a mastering gig, get an audio-for-video assignment, or whatever, I find techniques and write them up.
