Pan Effect?

Is it possible to pan an effect like a reverb or delay where you hear the initial sound on, say, the left side and have it reflect to the right side or vice versa?

One way: insert the EFX on an FX bus, send original to it, pan original L, pan FX R.

Or use the splitter tool as a L/R splitter (dry on the left, insert effect on the right) followed by one or more of the panning tools (binaural, dual pan, mixtool). That's probably easier should you want to automate the panning.
