Oscula Inferni 2026 [Tec-Rock]

The idea for this song came to me while working on Accende Ignem.

Flux2 was having a bit of trouble getting the number of monks right during image generation, and at some point I thought, "Well, why not just make it 666 monks and head straight to hell?"

And yes, I actually let an AI mistake inspire me. Why not? :-)

That was how the initial idea was born, and I started thinking about what I could do with my virtual band in that direction. It wasn't long before Ayla was singing the first lyric ideas through Synthesizer V.

Getting the project started was pretty quick, as usual. Thanks to Fender Studio's template feature, I've created a project template with my most frequently used instruments, buses, and routing already set up. This allows me to jump straight into songwriting without having to build the entire project from scratch every time.

When I'm composing, I usually already have certain scenes for the music video in mind, along with an idea of how my band would perform in them. This lets me incorporate those visual ideas directly into the music. In a way, the music and the video develop alongside each other, even though the actual video production comes later. I also added a few thunder sounds to enhance the atmosphere.

Afterwards, I created the accompanying music video using Flux.2-D and LTX 2.5. All the visual footage is AI-generated, while the editing and assembly were done in DaVinci Resolve Studio.
To be fair, I simply couldn't afford to produce a music video like this any other way. ^^

To list all the instruments and effect plugins used in the project, I also built a small tool with the help of Codex that extracts this information directly from the .song file. Much more convenient than writing everything down by hand. :-)

As always, I hope you enjoy the result!
Feedback on both the music and the video is very welcome!

I'm doing all of this as a hobby, but if you watch the video by clicking "Watch on YouTube", I'd certainly appreciate a few extra views for all the work I've put into it. ^^
