Maybe for my own understanding, why is it you are under the gun for having to sign in. Is it (I suspect) a Studio One + thing?, or via client, or access? Wouldn't you keep to a perpetual backup if its business related. Short answer is best, but again it helps me understand the product, and understand good people such as yourself.
Sorry you guys are bogged down.
Wouldn't a perpetual choice be the best choice?
For those like Lukas, Trucky, and simply those who prefer the subscription, I get the need. However, for those running a business, or gigging live shows, perhaps have the subscription plus a perpetual as a backup would be most reliable? Just thinking aloud. For clarity, Im soley perp and all is good.
I did get it sorted. Yes. But that was in October. Been fine since.

I was *extremely* pissed. I was hired by a label in Europe to work with an artist who wanted a more collaborative process. I convinced them to use studio one so we could work together on the project without using wetransfer or Google Drive. I would get the tracks from Workspaces, mix them and bounce them down, and upload them back for approvals. They were constantly adding or changing things based on my mixes and Workspaces was an absolute monster in assisting the creative process for them. It worked swimmingly for a month. They made a slight change to a song and uploaded it three days before the mix was due for label review and to send to mastering. After sending it, they promptly went on tour and weren’t available to resend it using any other method. I spent like 2.5 days trying to log into the Presonus site to simply get the mixes and if I recall, sent off the final mixes as the label was sitting down to listen. It was an absolutely frustrating three days and I slept for like 12 hours the next day. But now it works and I’m fine. Workspaces rules though, seriously. Huge props to the person from Support who actually called me and screen shared into my computer and did something that got me authorized. Support really did amazing and I am grateful for their help.

Wy Win11 install isn't acting up at all, runs super stable ever since it was installed.

@dominicperry Did you try the steps in this support document? https://support.presonus.com/hc/en-...ssage-stating-that-Studio-One-Pro-has-expired It might solve the authorization issue.
Thanks Gerran, when I upgrade I'll have a look at that. On a side note, I thought I needed to get a new laptop as my current one's screen was having an intermittent connection issue. I purchased and brought home a new HP Omen. So I got a short dose of Win 11 running Studio One. To my surprise, the new HP17" Laptop AMD Ryzen 9 AI, NVIDIA 5070 TI (16 gb), with two M.2 1 terabyte SSD drives display is not so great with only 300 nits. I returned it, and my older HP Omen (4 years old) has been so far behaving, as I tightened connections. That screen is far brighter and sharper as well. Although, when I make the move towards a new laptop, I will definately go with the OLED type screen at 500 nits. There are a few excellent brands using the OLED's. Or I'll grab a MacBook with M4 or M5 cpu. What I've encountered with Windows 11, just seems very overrun with a slew of non useful programs. No surprise there. I know, just get rid of the bloat. : )

Sounds like you gained a few gray hairs on that journey. Glad you got it all sorted and it all worked out in the end.
