Awesome Bapu. Great plugin. You/your elves are busy! This is very much what I thought/hoped Rayzoon was planning in their "Jambassist" plug that didn't happen. Wish you much success!
Thanks for reminding me to post about BassMuse in the Lounge over there.Awesome Bapu. Great plugin. You/your elves are busy! This is very much what I thought/hoped Rayzoon was planning in their "Jambassist" plug that didn't happen. Wish you much success!
Outstanding Bapu!Version 1.8.0 is out. Here's what's new:
Flow — a new per-section knob that ties each note toward the next one across empty beats, so sparser lines hold together and breathe instead of leaving gaps. Every style ships with its own Flow default; dial it to 0 for the old detached feel.
Two new bassist styles — Sustained (Long Shadow), a held, root-anchored voice built to show off Flow, and Reggae (One-Drop), a deep, behind-the-beat dub bass. That brings the built-in roster to 18.
Follow section on play — during playback the selected section now tracks the playhead, so each part's controls come into view as your arrangement plays. On by default (File → Follow section on play to toggle).
Plus a Windows fix so the plugin now reports its correct version in file properties.
Awesome Bapu. Thanks!Version 1.10.0 is out, with two big additions:
Live variation trigger — pick a MIDI note and, during playback, tap it to re-roll the bass pattern for the section you're in, live. It's a "variation pad" for performing: each tap steps to a new take, it lands cleanly on the next downbeat, and it's deterministic so a take is reproducible. Set it up under File → Variation trigger (Learn note, pick a channel, enable). A ▲N badge shows which sections are on a variation, and Bake current variations into song keeps one you love.
Choose where dropped chords land — drag a MIDI clip onto the arranger and pick the target: whole song, the selected section, the section or measure you dropped on, or append after the last bar. If the clip is longer than the target, BassMuse asks whether to clip it or extend.
Grab it at simplybassproductions.com. Your songs and settings carry over.
Thanks for playing.
Thank you, my friend.Hey, bapu, long time, no see. Hope you and yours are well. I've been in France for 5 years now. Best move I ever made.
Not sure how much I need another bass MIDI generator, but you are worth supporting, so...purchased and installed. Love your style names.![]()
