MPE pitch issues

Sooooo, after four months of no solutions from support or community, I stumbled upon a solution. It's an obscure setting and I'm astounded that no one in the community or in tech support after many months had an inkling of this.

In preferences, under advanced, there is a setting under Automation called "Reduction Setting". It is by default set to 50 (0-100). I looked this up in the manual and it says that it also affects MPE data. So, I switched it off, or to "0". MPE pitch playback is working now. I'm not sure how this may affect my processor load, but it works.

Four months of no accurate MPE pitch playback and absolutely NO ONE at PreSonus support or community had a clue.
Already told you on S1+ Community: you are a true hero!

Not at all. Just relentless as I LOVE the expression I can get out of the Roli Seaboard and certain MPE instruments. Next best thing to my Stratocaster. It was frustrating to not have the feature work as it should. Glad to be of service, for myself and hopefully others! Maybe Joe Gilder should do a S1 minute on this...

Great work! I just verified it works for me with my osmose. It is amazing that their support people did not find this.. I'm guessing the support people did not communicate this at all or to the right developer.
As an aside, This must be set during recording. But its only needed for recording. if you change the reduction setting back to 50%, after recording at 0%, it still plays back correctly.

I use SWAM instruments and with MixBus everything worked, while with Studio One 7 the "vibrato" when moving my finger on the Seaboard Block button didn't work. With this system it also works on Studio One 7. Many thanks.
