Solved Lost the 'editing' line on tracks in a song

Basic question, I know, but on one of my songs, I can't see the 'editing' line, the one with the cross, on the tracks. All I see on the track is the hand symbol or the default cursor.

It's like the 'Link Arrow and Range' option isn't working.

Can anyone put me out of my misery and tell me how to get it back?

Thanks, but no, that's not it. That option is always on.
The Range tool works normally, and so does the Arrow tool, but when I select to link them (left hand bracket) this does not work.
This issue only applies to one song, all the others work correctly.

It's OK, I worked it out. It was the track height. I didn't realise that if the track height was smaller than normal, that the linking of Range and Arrow doesn't work.
All OK now!
