Locate Missing Files Notification

I don't like it but maybe it's the right option for you. Just don't expect Studio One to second-guess what you intend exactly by saving under a different name. All these non-standard save options require some degree of user awareness of what it does and where goes what exactly. You ran into a problem of Studio One looking in a different place than where the intended file was. The problem looks like being related to having same-name files in different places. For me that's a warning light to be extra careful with file management, moving songs, etc. Otherwise you may run into problems like you had with your song.

In the same vein no need to reopen a topic imo you will tell me...

How come i find some lost .song arrangment files in the "history" folder in the song folder please ?
Is it safe to move them back to the song folder ? (of course they are not "autosaved" files)
Thanks a lot

Normally you would open the .song file in the root of the song's folder, and then from S1/SP access the history files through Files/Restore Version... Should the root .song file be missing you can try double-clicking one of the .song files in the history folder or drag one of them to the root of the song's folder first and double-click it there. Your computer should automatically open .song files as a S1/SP song unless you changed the app to be used to open .song files.
