there's a bunch of bug fixes that by v7.2.3 were fixed (some of them i posted on this site some months ago)
the upgrade to fps8 is about 100$ CAD for me, which im okay doing but i would really like to go to v7.2.3 first as it seems, it could be more stable than v8?
some of the issues i encountered in v6, seems they are addressed in the various v7 release notes:
- bounce to new selection - misses pan automation
- bounce to new selection treats audio vs midi tracks differently
- transform to rendered audio converts mono tracks to stereo, misses pan automation (fixed in v7?)
- 'phase coherent multitrack quantization' does not work
- folder track presets do not load correctly if the folder contains disabled tracks. the plugins lose state/if you try to disable the plugin it crashes studio one.
- mixdown selection or ghost record does not null with the parent bus (first time i noticed this was few days ago, i have not posted about it)
