All of a sudden I need my product key to activate and I don't have it written anywhere. Also, I can no longer access my Presonus account because it says invalid email. Hopefully somebody can help me.

Try logging in at https://my.fender.com/ with the email and password that you set up with the Presonus account.

My understanding is that the Presonus accounts were automatically ported over to myfender when Fender assumed ownership. If you can log in, all of you products and keys should be there, as well as access to support.

Well, I did that and it was a real mess for a while but things changed when I changed my password (in the Fender account). Then everything started working again. It shouldn't be this hard. I don't understand these vendors. Thanks for your help, Walt.

I have never had a problem with my info since I changed from Pro Tools HD to Studio One in 2017.Never had an issue logging in since then.

Same, but it definitely is an issue for some, so it's a legit issue.

Agreed. It is only a matter of time until every user gets hit at least once by this...

So true!! I have had two times in the past where I had issues like this. The last one was definitely
pilot error. Surgery and strong Meds can make your senses useless. The other years ago about
drove me wild for several days
then, all the sudden it just worked again (after support ticket submitted) Not sure
or don't recall how it got fixed but it did and what a relief. Sure glad all this stuff runs very smooth for the most part

Like K2, I came over from PT in 2015. This DAW and the whole rudimentary structure has been a rock! Support?, well I never had to deal with them once yet. : ) Fortunately, like the last forum, you'se guys (yes, I still have my NYC accent here in MS) are just as rock solid as this DAW. For people even having a product key issue, that really helps! Particularly when getting down to the business of creating. Keep up the awesomeness. Fender wont let you know, but we can keep morale high down here in the trenches.

If Fender dev's or associates are reading this, get back to work, and stop screwing off. Act like you know something!

Just a sidebar, but the people, not the corporate bodies, have been the only things that kept me interested in the StdioOne/StudioPro world. Way back when (unsure of the version) the program simply would not install on my Mac mini, in spite of the efforts of users and Presonus staff...so I just left it and stayed with ProTools. After several more versions had come and gone, I tried it again, this time with success.

Shortly before the corporate buyout I upgraded to version 7, asked a few questions here...and much to my surprise, one of the replies I got came from a fellow I'd known online for decades from another online (now defunct) forum, who works in some capacity with the forum. His personal input got me going in the right direction more than a few times - and the true benefit was getting reacquainting with an old friend.

Point: so many times, it's not the application alone, but the people involved. When I was using Samplitude I could pick up the phone and call the US representative; back in my earlier days of ProTools I could pick up the phone and talk to actual reps from Digi who could walk me through issues if needed. Same with Mackie digital, ADesigns, BAE, a rather long list...StudioPro is again in that category - if I run into a snag I can talk to a specific person.

THAT is what makes a lot of decisions, even though I'm a musical nobody.
