Is this known to have happened before?
This morning I checked my Fender account and my FSP license had disappeared from My Gear.
I got it transferred from someone on KnobCloud about a week ago. I suppose if that license was in any way non-legit I wouldn't have been able to register it at all, let alone use if for a week. Or is there something I don't know?
The guys at Fender claim it's KnobCloud's responsibility, but the moment that license is living in Fender's servers, I'd think it's theirs. I've given them the product key and I'm sure they can track the whole transfer process.
To add insult to injury, they seem to be accusing me of something illicit. Their words: "the license is not in your account and you seem to have been paid for it". To which I've asked them to give me any proof of that accusation.
An afterthought, could my account have been hacked?
