FSP license vanished from my account

Is this known to have happened before?
This morning I checked my Fender account and my FSP license had disappeared from My Gear.
I got it transferred from someone on KnobCloud about a week ago. I suppose if that license was in any way non-legit I wouldn't have been able to register it at all, let alone use if for a week. Or is there something I don't know?
The guys at Fender claim it's KnobCloud's responsibility, but the moment that license is living in Fender's servers, I'd think it's theirs. I've given them the product key and I'm sure they can track the whole transfer process.
An afterthought, could my account have been hacked?

The software is so cheap as it is.Just buy it new and create your own account.

For the sake of closure, technically it hasn't been solved as to what happened to my license, but Fender have been kind enough to provide me with a fresh license in my account.
All I can think of is some kind of licensing back-end problem being the culprit.
