I can't speak to Fender support but IK's support is literally non-existent. If you have a problem with your iRig....you'll be on your own.
Also....IK is the ONLY company I know of that does NOT host drivers for their interfaces on their website. If you buy an iRig HD used
and it's already been registered you can NOT download the drivers from IK.....and they will tell you to go pee up a rope. I bought a used
IK Axe I/O. IK would NOT help me with the drivers. if some kind soul on another forum had not shared them with me I would have
had an expensive boat anchor on my hands.
That being said, from a strictly technical standpoint, I would trust the iRig over the Fender simply because IK has a longer history
when it comes to developing interfaces.
