[Feature Request] Midi Velocity Adjustment in Note FX

Dear Studio One developers.
Some months ago I bought a S1+ license to use mainly for home recording and live performances as a VST host.
I really love the DAW and the work flow, and it is also very stable.
But something that really makes me sad is that some really basic functions that is present in many other DAWs for years, is simple not included in S1.
The ability to ajust a velocity curve from a Midi input, remap of Midi channels, etc, all these are really basic and (speaking as a SW developer) easy to implement.
Please, I really wish that a Midi velocity curve adjusting tool is added to Note FX. This should be a standard since beginning and I`m sure will be very useful for many users.

Hi, welcome to the forum!

Yes, something like a MIDI processor is a feature request I hear a lot. So far, this is only possible via 3rd party MIDI VST plug-ins... and the existing plug-ins are often 20 years old, only available in 32 bit or only for Windows. So it's hard to find plug-ins that work flawlessly for this kind of task.

An internal solution would be much more useful. I'll discuss this with the product team.

In case you have Gig Performer: GP has tons of features to manipulate MIDI, via curves, options and via scripting. GP5 can receive and send MIDI from/to Studio One so they work great in combination. For example, Studio One's Show Page can't send preprogrammed MIDI CC or note data to instruments, only program changes. But with GP, it's possible to trigger such data via program changes.
But this makes only sense if you already have GP - it's a bit expensive only for this purpose.

Hi Lukas, thank you!
I appreciate the reply and suggestions.
I don't have GP unfortunately, I also find it a bit pricey for my needs, so I will not be investing on it.
Hopefully the product team will hear our prayers and delivery this nice and useful feature!
Cheers!
