Applying inserts to input channel - Advice / Low latency comps/limiters?

Ok, so just for a little bit of explanation, i've got some damaged outboard hardware at the moment as I accidentally dropped a rack. :(
This means that I can't run my vocals or guitar through a hardware compressor coming in to Studio Pro, and it's really causing me problems as i'm so used to dealing with a signal that's got a bit more gain and compression on it baked into the incoming audio.

So, i've been looking around and I see that you can apply plugins to the input channels within Studio Pro, so been looking at using these to simulate hardware so I can hear it when monitoring and it's actually recording the compressed audio into the timeline.

Problem is a lot of the compressors add latency, and i'm looking for as low as possible - I was surprised to see that the stock compressor was adding 2.0ms for example.

As I used an 1176 clone via hardware, I started to compare the 1176 plugins that I had for this purpose and amazingly the NI VC76 delivers it with near/no added latency:

The question i'm asking is if anyone has any other tips for doing this in Studio Pro, or indeed does it themselves for either vocals or guitar?
(if you've not tried a bit of compression on the guitar coming in, through to the amp sim, try it - it's really good for cleans)

Second question is, does anyone know of any other "Gems" like the NI VC76 (Which i've slept on for years!), that can deliver a decent compression model at such low latency?

My main concern is that I usually direct monitor vocals, running through the 1176 clone, and then setup a channel in Studio Pro that sends to a fully wet reverb to sit behind it as a bit of a live guide.

I don't think i'm going to be able to recreate such a near low latency kind of setup without getting my hardware fixed or replaced, but if I can get close it'd be really appreciate. So any advice anyone can share.

If I get the workflow right, it'd be nice to see if going through an LA-2A, or equivalent would work better too, as ultimately I think I need a new rack so would be nice to take the time to try different options in software.

TIA!

Presonus Fat Channel is also zero latency - some comp and EQ types to choose from, but appears to be zero latency with both 1176/LA2A style comps and standard EQ on, as well as HPF and limiter. Not sure if it comes with FSP 8, or if I just have it as a throwback from Studio One 6/7.

Oh I just presumed fat channel would be higher latency, thanks for that. I wish I brought the Fat Channel collection when it was available as a perpetual all those years ago!! I have got one of the add-on packs though (British I think?)- really appreciate your help, will explore later.

Also found out that TDR Molotok is (near) zero latency, so going to give that a try too.
