Zoom out timeline setting

Hi folks..
I've recently migrated over from pro tools, and for the most part things are going well, but there's one thing that's wrecking my head..
Being able to zoom in etc is good, but on zooming out, 90% of the time it can go anywhere, so I generally have to scroll back to the start of the session..
I'm hoping there’s a setting that can sort this?..
Thanks..

One of my most used keystrokes is attached to a command that zooms to the extents of the entire arrangement window.
Look it up in the keystrokes dialog and assign your preferred keyset.

Ditto as OutrageProductions.

What I do is set the tilde key [~] to zoom all. Make sure the Start and End song markers are properly set as that is what Zoom full will bank against.

I'll have a look at that..
I've figured out that it goes to zoom from where the mouse is..so just put that where I want and it does actually seem more effective than the pro tools way..
Thanks for your help anyway..

@cqd - Here's a video tutorial I think you'll like as much as I do...

Well, like in Pro Tools, there are all sorts of ways to zoom, be it last selected, zoom to event, zoom all, zoom next, zoom previous, etc. So I'd hope you looked at what Zoom and scaling, Studio One uses on a whole.
Avid PT user here, pardon the pun.
