Would you consider any of the SO7 synths as in line with Arturia's Pigments?

Someone has suggested Pigments as a synth that allows you to build new sounds from scratch without necessarily being a synth programming guru. Do think any of SO's synthetic are in the same style?

Short answer: No.

Long answer: You really need to understand how synths make sounds to create your own, and it helps to have some idea of how they work if all you want to do is modify a preset. Pigments is great synth and has a ton of presets (included and 3rd party for purchase), but f you really want to create your own sounds, I suggest buying the Syntorial course from Audible Genius. It's not cheap, but it's really good. The synth the course uses a free synth that you can download and use without buying the course.

Check out their YouTube channel. Lots of videos of the course, the v2 update and the recent additions in v2.3.
