Shortly before I started running S17 I was prompted to run a Windows Update called "Secure Boot Allowed Key Exchange Key" which I did (right or wrong). However, I did just reboot the system and it seems to work OK now. I always try to find out what the update is all about (or at least see if it's safe) before I run it. I don't trust Microsoft with these Windows Updates lately. Thanks!Updates? Any odd keyboard software running?

Not that I see.Does your kbd have alternate functions for the F keys? If so, is the corresponding Function lock on by chance?
Yes. I have very clumsy fingers. I'm always accidentally hitting a wrong key that changes something I don't want to change. I get so mad!FWIW, I think BobF is on to it. You likely inadvertently selected the function key + something which in some (and largely possible) way, switched your function key mapping. Or even from Vocalpoint's mention of some odd keyboard software, be it gaming or otherwise. The good thing is you got it back. Hey, it happens at times to us all. Darn gizmo...
I feel that clumsy fingers thing very much! While I like Keyboard Shortcuts / Commands I have to be very careful notYes. I have very clumsy fingers. I'm always accidentally hitting a wrong key that changes something I don't want to change. I get so mad!
