Happy Friday all.
I have been using VE Pro in Cubase for a number of years. I recently purchased a Faderport 16 which came with Studio One 7 Pro (upgraded to FSP8) so I thought that I would give the DAW a try. I am really enjoying it so far and the community appears to be great. I spent the last few days creating a small orchestral template but the lack of midi channel manipulation is making it very difficult to control the level of my individual articulations, pans, etc. I was hoping to connect with anyone who has working knowledge of both VE Pro and the DAW in question. Thank you so much. Note: I did my research before posting here and have been down the YT rabbit hole. To be honest there isn't much that covers this scenario. In the screenshots that I attached to this post you will see that my articulations appear on separate channels. I created an instrument in FSP8 then duplicated that track for each desired instrument/articulation. Busses and outputs are the same in both CB and FSP8 (that is not an issue) All I get in FSP8 is one fader in the console which seems to control all of my articulation. In other words, if I choose to pan one track every other track follows suit. Your time and assistance will be greatly appreciated. Peter
