Video: Studio One Tutorial Database

Hey everyone,

back in 2023 I started building a Studio One tutorial database for myself.
I mainly wanted a way to quickly find answers without endlessly searching through videos - and over time it grew into a collection of 700+ Studio One tutorials.

I've now made a video where I walk through the database in detail and explain how it works, how to use it, and what kind of things you can find in there.

Hopefully some of you will find it useful or at least interesting.

I'd like to see more of the 'shorts' from both you and Gregor (& others), especially the items that get filtered in YT when using the [#StudioOneMinute] hashtag.
They are so quick, concise, and on point, (and not to throw shade at them) but the longer videos from Joe & Marcus (for example) are great if one has the time or need to watch a long form.
Sometimes the <60s vids are just what we need.
FWIW, this is the reference that I go to first when I'm looking for a new answer, or to refresh my ancient memory banks.

This is excellent, thank you! On the video, great job providing background and context for the issue you were addressing by building the database. Diplomatically presented as well. On the database, beyond a helpful resource, I appreciate the database brings learners to on point, no BS YouTube creators and musicians. Nice as well are the included search filters and parameters. Very well thought out. I will be sharing this and am sure will be using it too!

Edit: I think a "nice to have" feature would be to include a "sort by date posted to youtube" or similar search parameter. For example, certain S1 features have changed over the years. This has in some areas impacted workflow. I would find it helpful in some cases to be able to sort and see the most recent videos on the topic.

+1 for the one minute videos.
Can't be doing with watching long, rambling vids just to find that one keypress, or mouse click, or menu option that I need.
The trouble is that YouTube seems to encourage and reward longer videos so most creators tend to stretch them out as much as possible.
