v7 to v8 upgrade considerations?

Hi All,

I just got the Faderport 8, and v8 comes with it, that's pretty cool.

I'm on v7, and quite happy with it, but v8 beckons me.

I have a couple of VST2 instruments and a Cakewalk shortcut scheme (modified), but otherwise nothing unusual. Is there anything to consider when upgrading?

(I do recall that going from v6 to v7 was extremely smooth, every setting and VST carried over without issue.)

Other than signing into the Fender website, now, which you'd have to do anyhow with Presonus.com, the upgrade is largely identical.

And since you purchased the FP8 (Faderport 8) that comes with v8 (Fender Pro 8), the real question is what are you waiting for?
