Using a FaderPort 16 with the Project Page

I have a project with 14 songs, numbered 1 through 14. There are 14 faders on the FP16 that correspond, roughly, to the faders for each track. They are also labeled 1 though 14. The problem is that those numbers do not match the numbers in the track list. If I select track 3 in the track list, the 1st fader's select button lights up, and vice versa.

The Assistant says:

But there is no Console in Project mode. The FaderPort manual makes no mention of what is called the Project Page. Any ideas?
