Use Arturia Keylab mk2 and NI Kontrol 88 mk3 hardware controllers at same time?

Will I have full simultaneous functionality with both controllers in Fender Studio 8.1? The Arturia Keylab mkii is my main DAW controller. I will keep it as my main controller.

I'm considering replacing my Studiol;ogic SL990 XP with a NI Kontrol S88 mk3. The NI S88 mkIII would be my Komplete Kontrol/Kontakt 8 interface.
 
Don't have those devices, but I run a fader control surface along with an NI KKs61 keyboard and they both supply transport controls. And the s61 does what it was meant for with Komplete Kontrol. Shouldn't be a problem.
 
I've had zero problems having my KKS61 MK2 in use along with other keyboards and controllers.

Not sure how well FSP8 and KKS MK3 gets along these days
 
Here as well. KK S49 MK2, with several other keyboard controllers, including Atom SQ. Never a problem. There are some Mk3 issues, only I dont remember them, offhand. .
 
Thank you. I'm reading that KK MK3 did not play well within FSP when released. Hopefully the FSP team have addressed this. I'll have a look at bug fixes.
 
Studio Pro/One has not enabled the NI v2.0 firmware updates for the S Mk3 keyboards, so the DAW/plugin control is not as good as it is in other DAWs. I’m sure VP will be along in a minute, but I believe the Mk2 boards have slightly better integration as long as you keep the Hardware Control Services software limited to a certain version.

That said, the integration with Komplete Kontrol is fabulous and the screen is gorgeous.

As I recall, Vocalpoint has a mk2 and mk3.you can either message him, or he'll chime in. He has commented before and can fill you in as to those issues, or progress.

As I recall, VP has left his S61 Mk3 in its box and intends to leave it there until and unless he feels that the integration in Studio Pro gives him a significant enhancement over what he has with the S Mk2.

Yep, I was little gray on weather he reached some point where he was using what might have been good enough to open the mk3. Dunno. But he's the guy on having the latest on this. I wouldnt be able to hold out that long buying and not using something.
I wouldnt last more than a few hours.
 
Hey guys - my main DAW was rebuilt from the ground up on July 31. The MKIII became my daily driver on that day.

And yes - I realize that we still have not gotten the "real" integrations for the Kontrol Firmware 2.x like the rest of the "big" DAWs have - but I needed to move things forward.

The MKIII is rock solid and doing what it is supposed to do within the confines of what I would call - standard operating procedure within FSP.

TIP: This change has been in my sig since August 1.
