Their model has never changed. Still identical to what @OutrageProductions has listed.Has presonus gone back to it's original business model, ie, version 8. 8.5 then 9
As long as we're dotting O's (purposely miss lettered) it would not be remiss if we didn't say it was Fender doing the naming. Hey, if you're going to float or go down with the ship, you really should be hoisting your actual flag.Has presonus gone back to it's original business model, ie, version 8. 8.5 then 9
i hope you're teasing a new version coming soon with this one! You're referring to the version naming I guess. Yes decisions were changed, obviously. No time-based versions, here we are with Studio Pro 8.0 ... and 8.x soon![]()
Well, that was the usual diplomatic statement: βxβ could be anything (he even didnβt confirm .1) and βsoonβ could be anytime. Summary: there will be an update in a foreseeable future.i hope you're teasing a new version coming soon with this one!![]()
Depends on the date of your last payment. After 1 year, you can not get updates anymore. You have to renew (or subscribe)So if 8. x is fourth coming, will i have to pay for this version?
Hah, as if I had a clue as to when the next release will be. Actually, I'm so far removed as to WHEN next releases will be from this DAW. That ship has sailed quite a while ago. I never ask, and no longer expect. I'm using Studio One 7 because it does all that I need to complete projects. My only point is it's now a Fender banner on this DAW. "Fender" will bear the brunt of what happens now. Basically, correcting the OP's reference to "Presonus" here, is all.i hope you're teasing a new version coming soon with this one!![]()
Its a relevant question. My guess is:So they are still doing the three or four feature drops a year,?
