You vocal sounds a bit like Bowie in the verses. Man, I love that guitar work. I love you video work too. Great tune.
BTW-I think you made a typo. Sonar One? Didn't you mean Studio One? ;)

Ha, yes….I’ve edited that correction.

Thank you for listening and commenting John! Im absolutely thrilled that you like the song.

I'm hearing more 80s English than Bowie specifically...sort of the same feel as bands like OMD. It's good to have that vibe again, and adding some rock decorations spiced it up.

I would have brought down the guitar in a left channel a bit when you're singing, and left it up otherwise. But I'm picky, it's what I do :ROFLMAO: I also would have moved the guitar solo to center. It's cool and adds that rock element, so you might as well shine a spotlight on it! I also appreciate that you kept it short and to the point.

The Rick bass comes across really well. It's hard to get bass levels right in a mix. And it's a Rick bass! Love those things.

Thank you Craig! Its been a while since I've seen you around....way back in my Sonar days. :)

I am going to have to look up OMD now and figure out who you are referencing. I'm going to have to check out the solo, if its panned that was unintended. I've been pleasantly surprised with my Rickenbacker Bass lately and how it is projecting in mixes. I've had it and used it exclusively since 2002. About a year ago I installed Thomastik rounds on the bass and loved them. They seem to really sit well in the mix during live band play and in my recordings. They are a year old, but I'm afraid to touch them right now....leave well enough alone.

Cool song! Absolutely love the vibe of the vocals as well, they have so much character that makes the song spark. And the guitars sound so lovely, I want to hear them better (that's ment as a compliment). I probably agree with Craig Anderton on moving the solo to center stage.
If I were mixing this, I'd give the drums a bit more room effect, but hey, I'm not complaining.
