"Transform to Rendered Audio" - S1 6.6.4 - does not include pan automation?

Hi everyone,

Issue:
1. Transform to Rendered Audio on audio tracks
- it appears that although the manual indicates, that pan automation should be included, it is not. I tested this multiple times. BUT, volume automation is included. Furthermore, if you try to transform back to 'realtime' state -- the initial pan automation points are all gone. No bueno!

Video I made to describe issue:

This feature works fine in the latest version (7.1.1).

  • Using Undo/Redo immediately after "Transform to Rendered Audio" will restore both the original audio and automation points.
  • Using the "Transform to Realtime Audio" restores the audio but not the automation points. It seems that the "Preserve Original Track State" option is not working. I consider this as a bug.

Confirmed that Pan Automation is not saved after "Transform to Realtime Audio".
Issue exists in both Studio One 6.6.4 and 7.1.1.
I submitted a bug report for this.

thank you -- and apologies Trucky -- I have the video set to 'unlisted' now so you can see it (in case you wanted to anyways)

ive been locking down my internet like crazy so im focused on working on this album so my responses may be delayed.

i have some other videos i will create separate threads for.

It seems to have been fixed in v7.2.3, it works as designed.

"Transform to Rendered Audio" renders and saves, while "Transform to Realtime Audio" restores the original audio and automation tracks, including the Panorama. :)
