Hi all
ive been wrestling with this for a few days now..perhaps you can help
i have constructed my midi drums in slate SSD4
I have assigned them individual channels in SSD4 and output to individual Channels in S1.
All good so far..
I have mixed my S1 drum channels with various Eq ,Rev Etc and sounding how i want.
Now i want to Transform my S1 channels to audio (for future safety ) but not the Per channel inserts FX.
I dont want to lock them down yet ..but the Transforms will only remember my vols and pans if i render the inserts
which i dont want and also the wording of the Transform tool indicates i should be able to to this.
AND also all the Transformed channels come out stereo regardless of their original mono state.
I came from cakewalk and this part was much easier to do...
I have since discovered that i can route my channels to an input of a track and record them in real time
which is a workaround of sorts but the recorded output averages about 3db down..very frustrating..
The song is mixed and all i want to do is bounce all my instrument trax down so that if one day i dont have SSD4 or kontakt i can stiil
tweak my song..
sorry for long post
but not nearly as long as i have spent on countless youtube videos trying to work this out
Thankyou
