Transform SSD4 multi channel instrument

Hi all
ive been wrestling with this for a few days now..perhaps you can help
i have constructed my midi drums in slate SSD4
I have assigned them individual channels in SSD4 and output to individual Channels in S1.
All good so far..
I have mixed my S1 drum channels with various Eq ,Rev Etc and sounding how i want.
Now i want to Transform my S1 channels to audio (for future safety ) but not the Per channel inserts FX.
I dont want to lock them down yet ..but the Transforms will only remember my vols and pans if i render the inserts
which i dont want and also the wording of the Transform tool indicates i should be able to to this.
AND also all the Transformed channels come out stereo regardless of their original mono state.
I came from cakewalk and this part was much easier to do...
I have since discovered that i can route my channels to an input of a track and record them in real time
which is a workaround of sorts but the recorded output averages about 3db down..very frustrating..
The song is mixed and all i want to do is bounce all my instrument trax down so that if one day i dont have SSD4 or kontakt i can stiil
tweak my song..
sorry for long post
but not nearly as long as i have spent on countless youtube videos trying to work this out
Thankyou

Please update your signature (see link and example in mine) with your system specs.
This information often helps in response to questions or issues you post to the Forum.

Thanks for updating your signature with the basic details needed.

I've got the latest SSD5 running on Studio One 7.2.1 and Windows 11 (24H2).
Please post screenshots of your SSD4 routing setup and Studio One Instrument and Mixer view and I'll test on my computer.

Thanks for that...
I think the easiest albeit more laborious method is to just create as many empty tracks as necessary
select input of said tracks to match outputs of ssd4 drum channels and record realtime .
then move over whatever processing was on the channels...
Havent seen that Bounce to New Track (Keep Speaker Format)" command bfore will chek it and report back
thanks.
PS are you saying that i can or cannot choose to have the per channel processing applied to the transform?
I would like to choose transform WITHOUT processing and re engage processing after transform.
The wording on the pop up seems to suggest i have a choice

To help, I still need these from you...

Here's what I'm able to do to create audio events without the Inserts...

1. Transform to Audio Track.

2. Export Selection for each event.

If you need to convert the stereo events back to mono...

hi Trucky thanks for taking the time with this..
im away from my computer ATM
but one thing i notice is that you have separated your drums on to tracks that have the record button.
When i separate my drums they go to channels with no record button.
also its not stems i want to export i just want to print my midi instrument into the project
so that if by chance in the future i come back top this project
and i also have moved on from Slate ssd4 or whatever,...
i can still alter/review my project...make sense?

The screenshots I posted previously provides what you initially asked for so I'm confused by what you want now...
Does the SSD4 version not look like the SSD5 screenshots I posted?
I need you to post screenshots (or a link to a video) that "shows exactly what you want"...

You can revert back to the original Instrument track using "Transform to Instrument Track"...

Sorry for late reply..im away from home ATM for work
back soon..
thanks for the follow up

ok just spent another couple of hours on this with no joy...
Hey Trucky how do you get those screen shots?
to reiterate what i am trying to do..
i have a songs worth of drums
they are exploded in to their different pitches (so several midi tracks)
then i have routed from within SSD the kik snr etc to various outputs (about 7 channels including stereo room and stereo Over Heads)
and expanded them in the S1 mixer ..all good so far.
then when i want to transform instrument to audio i must select all the midi tracks and
click "render all channels" But this renders all the SSD outputs (24 channels )many of which are empty and takes time to do as well.
I do not want this i just want the channels that have my midi tracks transformed to audio.
thanks
