Track templates in V 5

I believe the ability to save a track as a template was introduced in version 6.

I spent a couple of hours yesterday building an 80s rock drum kit in EZ Drummer 3, including various busses, EQs and of course a gated reverb on the snare.

To get around not being able to save this as a track template in V 5, for now it's saved as a song template.

Is there a way I can import all the tracks from another song so that they can be used with this new drum kit? Or another workaround?

Wasn‘t there an option to open the template song structure in the file manager and drag single tracks into your current song? I thought I had read something like that a couple of days ago in this forum.
